Terms of service

The terms for using Unispect. This text is a draft, has not been legally reviewed, and cannot yet be relied on as an agreement.

Not reviewed. What follows describes how the service is intended to work, but has not been through legal review. Until it has, whatever was agreed separately with the organising club governs. The Swedish version at /anvandarvillkor is the original.

1. Who you are contracting with

Unispect is a service and a brand, not a company. It is operated by Hellersjö Consulting AB. There is no company called Unispect AB.

Who your counterparty is depends on what you are doing. Registering a team for a competition - the entry, the rooms, the meals, the ice and the invoices - is an agreement between you and the organising club named on the event. Hellersjö Consulting AB carries that agreement between you but is not a party to it.

Your account, and your use of this website, is an agreement with Hellersjö Consulting AB, and these terms are that agreement.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us, and for keeping it current.
  • Sign-in goes through Microsoft Entra External ID. Protecting your sign-in is your responsibility.
  • Accounts are personal and must not be shared.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

3. Reaching your registration

A registration is reached by signing in with the email address it was made under; a one-time passcode is sent to that address each time. There is no separate registration link. Keep control of that mailbox — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. If you lose access to the address, contact the organiser, who can move the registration to a new account once they are satisfied who you are.

4. Your responsibility for other people's data

Registering a team, or entering a rooming list, means giving us details about other people. You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • those people know their details are being given to the organiser and the hotel,
  • you only submit health information — allergies, dietary needs, accessibility requirements — that you have their permission to submit, and
  • details about children are submitted with a parent's or guardian's knowledge.

5. What the service does and does not do

  • Unispect carries registrations, bookings and payment details between teams and organisers.
  • Payment happens off the platform, directly between you and the organiser.
  • The organiser is responsible for the competition, the accommodation and the catering — not us.
  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

6. Prohibited use

You must not attempt to reach data you are not entitled to, circumvent access controls, work probe for registrations that are not yours, scrape the service automatically, or use it for anything unlawful. Accounts doing so may be suspended.

7. Personal data

How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms. Where the two conflict on a question of personal data, the privacy notice governs.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. Account holders are told about material changes in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

9. Governing law

Swedish law applies, and disputes are heard by the Swedish general courts. If you are a consumer you keep whatever rights consumer law gives you regardless of this clause.
